Thinking about dialogue

1.  i. Went around the school. Sat at the upstairs windows and front of the school
ii. Listened to the conversation until it was over or couldn't hear anymore.
iii. Two girls and a guy, two guys
iv. It felt awkward to be writing exactly what they were saying. It felt wrong and inappropriate.

2. Most conversations were bland. No emotion or content were expressed and people just talk for the sake of talking.

3. I can apply this to my writing when someone is bored or not interested.

4. Personality and character is revealed through conversation when someone talks loud or fast, quiet or slow. Everyone talks differently and has different personalities. When someone talks fast or loud they could be outgoing and not shy. When someone talks quiet or slow they could be shy or embarrassed.

5. When more than 2 people talk in a conversation everyone talks differently. Some people talk more than others and seem to be more enthusiastic about the conversation. Many sentences are left unfinished because other people in the conversation but in.

6. I was surprised how boring peoples conversations were. Many people sounded very depressed and not interested in talking.

7. The differences of written and spoken conversations are that written conversation can not be exactly how the person feels. You can easily add different words to show emotion and content. Spoken conversation you have to act out what you are trying to say to make it be heard the right way. Similarities of the two is that written conversation can be boring and exciting just as easy as spoken conversation.
